My wife Amy and I grew up on farms in Northwest Illinois
and after marrying, we followed our desire to farm for 11 years. We were
raising our three young children (Laura, Ben and Leah) and raising
sheep, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I believe God taught me a great deal
about his work and myself through those sheep!
But then I felt His call to "change flocks," return to
the seminary and shepherd His people. My journey has led me to Bethany
where I have the privilege of shepherding this very diverse church that
has such a heart for Jesus and to reach out to others with His love.
My passion is to encourage people to give God control
of their lives and then to see the awesome results of that commitment.
I love to spend time with my wife, and I enjoy
watching my children grow in their gifts and love
for the Lord. I like to garden and travel; I love a good cup of tea; I
am left handed, and I
am working on
a Doctor of Ministry Degree because we all need to keep growing in
the knowledge of our faith.

Hey there, welcome to Bethany’s web site. I
hope that this site is able to give you a taste of what Bethany is about
and how God is working through the people of our church family. I am the
Pastor of Congregational Life. This is a recent change for me. Up until
Mid-August of 2004, I had worked for Kohler Co. Over a 14-year career I
held a number of different positions in accounting, sales, customer
service, mobile plumbing, and marketing. For a number of years I felt
the Lord calling me into a full-time ministry opportunity. I am truly
blessed to have been given that opportunity with Bethany.I was born
and raised in Wisconsin. I grew up on a dairy farm in a little community
in Central Wisconsin. After high school I went on to the University of
Wisconsin in Eau Claire and earned a degree in business. After college I
accepted a position with Kohler Co. and moved to the Sheboygan area. I
also earned my Masters degree from Marquette University in 2000.
Beginning in November 2004 I’ll be starting classes at Western
Theological Seminary in Holland, MI in order to obtain my Masters of
Divinity degree. I can’t seem to stay away from school for very long.
I am married to an incredible woman Amy. Amy is an elementary school
teacher and is also involved at Bethany in the Triumph band. I have two
children, Tyler who is 18 and Hannah 11. The Lord has certainly blessed
me with an amazing family.

I grew up the youngest of eight children and
have lived in Sheboygan my whole life. I am married and have three
children. My husband is a Tool & Die Maker at JL French. My two
daughters are in their second year of college and my son is a first
grader at Wilson School. My family and I enjoy spending our summer
weekends at our trailer at Westward Ho Camp Resort.
I started my job at Bethany in April and have found
Bethany to be a very welcoming and gracious church.
