What to Expect
on Sundays

What's the point of church?

We believe God has done - and is still doing - amazing things in our world. We gather each weekend as a community to celebrate what God has done in Jesus, the one who died for us. We also gather to remember that we are invited to join the resurrected Jesus in making a difference in our world.

In-Person Worship Service

Sundays - 10:00am

Located in the Sanctuary (through the west entrance and to your left), we worship with contemporary songs and hymns, with prayer and scripture. The whole service is created to prepare our hearts to hear God's word. (The sermons are about 25 minutes long.) Bethany has a long-standing tradition of closing every service with the Doxology.

Parking & Entrances

We will have a greeter to welcome you and point you to our worship center. Please Note: Our west doors will always be open, but at about 9:15am, we lock three of the entrances for security purposes. (One is near our children's nursery.)

Dress

Our priority is people - not what they're wearing. Some of our members are casual; some are business casual. You'll see Packer & Badger gear too. We really are just glad you've joined us!

Nursery

We want every infant and toddler's first experience of church to be one of a caring community. We see our role as so much more than babysitters! We want each child to feel the love and kindness of our Heavenly Father — and to learn about God's goodness through simple, age-appropriate stories and songs.

Cafe Bethany

Every Sunday immediately following our in-person worship service, we gather in the Fellowship Hall for light refreshments and good conversation. It is a wonderful way to bond with our Bethany family and guests.

Online Worship Services

Sundays - Live-Stream 10:00am

(Also available weekly on our YouTube Channel)

Every Sunday, we also meet online. There's a chat feature where we are able to greet one another, and you'll find links to our bulletin and prayer guide, plus have an opportunity to share your own prayer requests with our community. You can also request a time of prayer with our pastor or one of our hosts, through a private chat, as well. And if you can't make the 10:00am in-person service or online service, you can watch it on Bethany's YouTube channel anytime later.

Wednesday Nights

During the school year, we have activities for families on Wednesday nights. We begin our time together with a meal at 5:30 followed by Kids Connect for elementary aged children and Youth Group for middle and high schoolers. We learn together, eat together, and have a lot of fun together on Wednesday evenings and everyone is welcome to join us.

Have Questions?

If you have a question, need directions, want more information, we have a center in our lobby to help. If you would like to talk with one of our pastors, simply email us at bethany@bethanyrc.com. We'd love to talk with you!
